Dealing with uncertainty in the market

In this latest blog you will find further information.

The use case now focuses on extending its collaboration with other use cases until the end of 2020.

”We must show quality and flexibility.”

These COVID times are challenging us to deal... We see that all french fries productions have stopped and that a lot of our potatoes (also from our colleagues) are not processed to french fries anymore.

I am still stressed about the next season. We are now planting all the potatoes with the planting machines but it is still quite unsure whether our crops will have a potential buyer next year.

We also try to deliver a better service to our customers, for example, if they want to have a different grade of potatoes, we try to be as flexible as possible to be a reliable market partner. The quality will make the difference, or so we hope.  In this covid period, advisors are still working on the farm but they are alone on the field for their inspections and reports. We only meet once at the end of the day, with safety measures, to discuss all the aspects that need an agronomic decisions”
