IoF2020: CEJA Use Cases competition

New IoT solutions for the next farming generation

Over the last four years, highly innovative solutions for the agri-food sector have been developed in the Internet of Food and Farm project (IoF2020). We are now asking the opinions of young farmers on these technologies. A contest between IoF2020 use cases has been designed to gather the feedback from young farmers, and will first target the members of CEJA (European Council of Young Farmers).

Participants to this survey will first identify which sectors are the most applicable to them (arable, dairy, fruit, vegetables and meat). Then they will be presented with IoT solutions for these sectors and they should let us know if such solutions are envisaged in their farm, if they find it useful and what makes it interesting to them. By involving young farmers, we want to get feedback from end-users and raise awareness on IoT solutions for the agricultural sector. They represent the next farming generation, and as digital natives, they have a unique perspective on new technologies.

We’ll keep you posted on the outcomes of this competition !
